ABOUT US

Shoot and Splice Films was set up in 2019 by Leo Mansell after going freelance in 2013.

Having started in the industry 20 years ago in the family business, he learnt the ropes with a heavy grounding in corporate and live event video production for multinational companies. Leo then spent the last decade finding his own niche in the medical sector and music industry, in addition to a passion for documentary work.

But the one thing in common at the heart of every project is always the story that is being told – and that is what Shoot and Splice Films delivers.

Why the pig on the logo? I thought you were a hog roast man? (a legit question)

Firstly, anyone who’s tried to design a logo will have gone through the ‘why not?’ phase.

Secondly, the ‘pig’ is in fact the boar from the Campbell clan crest and is a tip of the hat to my family roots.

Also, the clan’s latin motto is ‘Ne Obliviscaris’, meaning ‘forget not’ – which also seems apt when capturing people’s stories.
